You may have noticed a new icon

. This icon indicates that there is an
RSS feed available for the discussion boards that it appears next to. Simply put, these news feeds are designed to help you quickly see what is new in your favorite section of IRW or the whole IRW forum. If you have never used RSS style news feeds, you are about to discover a new way to get your favorite information from IRW and many other sites on the web. If you are familiar with RSS, I am surprised you are reading this post.

The RSS feed icon

is located next to each discussion board. You may also see the icon near the URL in your browser (or at the bottom of your browser), this is the feed icon for all of IRW. These feeds can be accessed by your browser, email client, etc. In news readers, the news feeds appear as messages with the content of the message the related IRW post. News readers and email clients accumulate the feed items similar to email messages.
In browsers, the feed appears as bookmarks showing the last few posts. (See below to learn how to use the RSS feed.)
With other news readers or browsers, I recommend searching the internet with the name of your software and the term RSS, for example: "
Internet Explorer RSS"
