Hello,
i'm proud to present my obviously rare Ibanez RG 4020 QMBS Prestige from 1996.
Bought it as new in a big german music-store in 1996.
It's in a good condition...
I often heard that this axe is one of the most beautiful guitars, Ibanez have ever produced. Well... they're right!

I'm looking for some facts about this great guitar. I hope someone of you knows something about this axe...
That's what I found out so far:
Rare model, only build for japanese and european market.
Someone told me about a german guitar-magazine (Gitarre & Bass, in year 1997) which remarked this guitar build in a quantity of 28.
It has the "John Petrucci" electrics (splitted Humbuckers in middle position of the three way switch), gold hardware, DiMarzio Pickups and a very very beautiful quilted maple top finish.
In case I could be forced to sell in in the next time because of the forthcoming birth of our child, I doesn't really want to take out the humbuckers to look on their back to find out their names.
Does anybody now the Pickups, that are build into this lovely guitar?
Here are the pics:
(The pics were taken while sundown, so it was hard to take good pictures. Many objects from my garden reflects on the body)
